Malaysia Investment Forum: Sustainable and Responsible Investments through Islamic Finance
On the 26th of September, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) will be hosting Malaysia Investment Forum, themed “Business Opportunities in the Changing Economic Landscape”. The forum will be held in Kensington Close Hotel, London from 9.30am to 4.00pm and forms part of the Malaysia Promotion programme taking place in the city. The PRI is delighted to be supporting this one-day forum of presentations and panel dialogues highlighting various industry prospects in Malaysia and Asia.
Of special interest will be the session, hosted by Securities Commission Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia at 14.00, entitled ‘Sustainable and Responsible Investments through Islamic Finance’. The discussion will highlight the vital importance of considering and including criteria such as sustainability, inclusiveness and governance as part of a disciplined investment strategy.

The session will be moderated by Zainal Izlan Zainal Abidin, Executive Director of Securities Commission Malaysia.
